Alan Taetle, general partner at Noro-Moseley Partners (NMP) and Venture Atlanta 2016 chairman, is synonymous with success and venture capital. But his first success was at one of Atlanta’s best loved startups: Mindspring. As the ISP’s 13th employee in 1995, Alan oversaw the company’s subscriber growth from 4,000 to over 325,000 in just three years.
Today, he represents NMP on the boards of PureWRX, Red Canary, Salesfusion and TrendKite, and served as director or observer for a series of successful prior NMP investments, including Clearleap (sold to IBM), Virtustream (sold to EMC), Acumen Brands (sold to General Atlantic), and SecureWorks (sold to Dell).
Alan recently took time out of his busy schedules to share how he works.
